Selection of manipulation wire rope
The steel wire rope is composed of a rope strand, a rope strand, and a rope core. Elevator steel wire ropes are spirally twisted around a single core. Usually use 50 to 65 high-quality carbon steel or 60Si2Mn steel wire. For safety, special or No. 1 steel wire is used for the elevator wire rope, and the wire diameter is limited to 0.3 to 1.3 mm. The commonly used elevator traction wire ropes are Xilu type (X type) and Warington type (W type). At present, domestic elevators generally use steel wire ropes of the Siru type 8 or 6 steel wire strands, of which 8X (19) is widely used.
Example of wire rope marking identification
Taking a passenger elevator with a rated load of 1,000 kg as an example, the traction wire rope uses 8X (19) —16—140 right-hand intersection, where 8 is the number of strands, X is the Sirou type, and (19) is the number of each strand. Number of steel wires, 16 is the nominal diameter of the rope (mm), 140 is the tensile strength of the rope (kgf / mm2), and the right intersection is the twisting of the steel wire in the strand and the strand in the right direction of the rope. The domestic traction wire ropes are all right-handed.
All steel wire ropes are operated with oil-impregnated fiber rope cores. The rope core supports and fixes the position of the strands to improve the contact between the ropes, reduce the shock load, and act as an oil reservoir for the long-term lubrication of the wire ropes. .
Structure and characteristics of Xisi-lu (X-type) wire rope
The cross section of Xilu elevator wire rope is 1 + 9 + 9 per share, that is, the core plus the first layer plus the second layer is composed of 19 wires: 1 center wire, 1.2mm, 9 inner wires, ф0 .6mm, 9 outer steel wires ф1.05mm. The outer wire diameter is larger than the inner wire diameter, so it is also called outer thick wire rope. Features ① The inner and outer layers of steel wire have the same quantity but different diameters. The outer layer is embedded in the inner notch. Thick steel wire in the outer layer increases abrasion resistance, and thin steel wire in the inner layer improves softness, which is conducive to sliding with each other during bending, thereby improving the flexibility and service life of the wire rope. ② The steel wires are in parallel contact between the layers, the steel wire rope has good fatigue resistance, the wear resistance between the steel wires is good, the contact area increases, and the contact stress decreases.
